A client with an existing food tour guide business moved from Vancouver to Victoria. Not wanting to abandon her long-term restaurant relationships on the mainland, she developed a series of self-guided tours, allowing users to navigate themselves to tour stops, try recommended specialty items with a nice discount, and learn more about the neighbourhoods they visited. Launched in January 2020, the site offers tours at $7 for a week of unlimited access.
This site provides passive income while raising the profile of the owner's main Victoria business at the same time.
